Barbie Forteza is getting attention again after opening up about a past TV guesting where she chose to walk out because of what she described as unprofessional treatment from the production team.

According to GMA News, the Kapuso Prime Princess shared the story on the Trggrd! podcast, explaining that the incident happened a long time ago. Barbie said she came from a taping that ended around 1 a.m., then still showed up for an 11 a.m. call time in Pasay despite being tired.

Barbie said she had asked if her schedule could be moved after lunch because of the late-night shoot, but the request was not granted. She still arrived on time, only to later find out that another guest had been prioritized while she and her mother waited.

The actress said she eventually decided to leave, stressing that call times should be respected and honored. She also said the production team, including the show’s hosts, later reached out to apologize for what happened.

For Barbie, the point was not to cause drama but to send a message about respect in the workplace: “mutual respect tayo.” She is set to star in Honor Thy Mother with Sharon Cuneta, a Prime Video project involving GMA Network and ABS-CBN. Source: GMA News Online
