Manila Water and Maynilad — The Manila Times
Residents in parts of Metro Manila, Rizal, and Cavite may need to store extra water this week after Manila Water and Maynilad announced scheduled service interruptions tied to maintenance work and system demand.
According to The Manila Times report, Manila Water said some areas in Barangay Maharlika, Taguig will be affected on April 7 to 8 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. because of step testing meant to detect possible leaks in the network.
Several Rizal locations are also on the list. Parts of Barangay Manggahan in Rodriguez are set for outage hours due to leak repairs along Millex Road, while areas in Barangay San Roque, Antipolo may see interruptions because of a line meter replacement along Marigman Road.
The advisory also covered portions of Barangays Dolores and San Isidro in Taytay, plus a section of Barangay Santo Domingo in Cainta. These were linked to more step testing activities, with most of the work scheduled overnight para less hassle sa residents.
Maynilad, meanwhile, said parts of Valenzuela and Caloocan will experience interruptions due to repair and maintenance work, while several villages in Imus, Cavite may have little to no water from April 6 to 10 because of high demand at the Patindig Araw pumping station.
