Some households in Metro Manila and Rizal need to prepare early because Manila Water has announced scheduled service interruptions tied to maintenance and system improvement work. The affected areas include parts of Mandaluyong, Pasig, Taguig, Rodriguez, and Antipolo.

The company said portions of Barangays Mauway, Addition Hills, and Plainview in Mandaluyong will lose water service from 9 p.m. on March 30 until 4 a.m. on March 31. The interruption is linked to the installation of a PVC valve along NCMH corner Road 10.

Another interruption is set for Barangay Santolan in Pasig from 10 p.m. on March 31 to 4 a.m. on April 1 due to a zero pressure test along Evangelista Avenue up to the corner of Gabriel Street. During the same window, parts of Barangay Calzada in Taguig, especially along Lontoc and Virata streets, will also be affected because of step testing activities.

In Rizal, Manila Water said parts of Barangay Manggahan in Rodriguez will experience an outage from 10 p.m. on April 6 to 4 a.m. on April 7 for leak repair works along Millex Road. Portions of Barangay San Roque in Antipolo City are also scheduled for interruption during the same period because of line meter replacement along Marigman Road.

Residents in affected areas were advised to store enough water ahead of time and flush their taps for a few minutes once service returns until the water runs clear. For updates or concerns, Manila Water said customers can reach its 1627 hotline or its official social media pages.
