The SexBomb Girls Are Getting a Docuseries — 'Get, Get, Aw!' Will Show the Tears, Sweat, and Struggles Behind Their Epic Comeback
The SexBomb Girls' legendary comeback concert series is getting the documentary treatment — and based on the teaser that Rochelle Pangilinan just dropped on Instagram, it's going to be an emotional ride.
'Sa likod ng Get Get Aww ay pawis, luha, at pusong hindi sumuko,' Rochelle wrote. 'This is our story. This is the SexBomb legacy. Abangan.' The one-minute teaser features behind-the-scenes footage from their reunion concerts, intercut with candid moments of the members reflecting on what it took to get back on stage.
The docuseries touches on the real struggles the group faced — including the difficulty of finding producers willing to back a comeback concert for a dance group that many in the industry dismissed as 'backup dancer lang.' It's a raw, honest look at what happens when nostalgia meets reality and the business side of showbiz.
The 'Get, Get, Aw!' concert series has been a massive success story. Starting with their first reunion show at Araneta Coliseum on December 4, they followed up at MOA Arena on December 9, then did three more MOA Arena shows on February 6, 7, and 8. They're now taking the tour to Tacloban, the UAE, and the United States.
No release date or platform has been announced yet for the docuseries, pero the teaser alone is generating huge buzz. The SexBomb Girls aren't just performing hits from the early 2000s — they're proving that determination and genuine talent can outlast decades of being underestimated. Get ready to cry and dance at the same time.
