Tekla Opens Up About His Ex Michelle Lhor: 'We're OK Now, Pero Hindi Kami Nagsasama'
Comedian Tekla got candid about his past heartbreak and current co-parenting setup with former live-in partner Michelle Lhor Bana-ag during his appearance on Thursday's 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.' And while the wounds may have healed, the scars haven't quite faded.
When asked about his most painful experience in love, Tekla didn't hold back. 'Pinakamasakit yung, siyempre alam naman ng tao yon, na parang pinagkalulo ka,' he said, referring to the betrayal that rocked their relationship. 'Pero naka-move on na ako. Nakaraan na yon. Pero, still, the trauma is here.'
The good news? Tekla says he and Michelle are now on good terms, especially since they share children together. 'May kids kami eh, so andon pa rin yung ano — pero hindi kami nagsasama. Sumeparate na sila para makapagtrabaho ako nang maayos,' he explained. 'Yes, we're OK.'
His 'TBATS' co-host Boobay also chimed in, vouching for Tekla as a dedicated father. 'Nakita ko kung gaano siya kagaling na tatay. As much as possible, every taping namin, kinakausap niya yung anak niya,' Boobay shared. It was a sweet moment between the comedy duo.
In 2020, Michelle had accused Tekla of abuse — allegations the comedian denied. But years later, it seems both sides have moved past the drama. Tekla and Boobay are gearing up for 'TBATS on the Go,' launching March 1, so there's plenty to look forward to for the Eat Bulaga veteran.
