Biado, Centeno, and Roda Pull Off Insane Comeback to Win World Billiards Title for the Philippines
Team Philippines just added another world title to the country's legendary billiards legacy. Carlo Biado, Chezka Centeno, and Jefrey Roda staged a jaw-dropping 3-2 reverse sweep against Poland to capture the 2026 Predator WPA Teams 10-Ball World Championship at the Westgate Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
It looked bleak early on. Poland came out firing, winning the first two sets and putting the Filipino squad on the brink of elimination. But if there's one thing Pinoy billiards players know how to do, it's fight back when the pressure's on — and that's exactly what happened.
Biado carried the fight in the middle sets, showing the clutch form that's made him one of the most feared names in international pool. Roda delivered the dagger in the final set, closing out the match and sealing an incredible comeback that had Filipino fans around the world screaming.
Centeno, one of the top female pool players in the world, added depth to the team and proved once again that the Philippines produces world-class talent regardless of gender. The mixed-team format only made the victory sweeter for the Philippine delegation.
With this win, the Philippines reaffirms its status as the undisputed powerhouse of world billiards. From Efren 'Bata' Reyes to the current generation, Pinoys continue to dominate the felt — and the world knows it.
