SB19 Goes Global — P-Pop Kings Are the First Pinoy Act to Hit Lollapalooza Stage
It's official, A'TIN — SB19 just made Philippine music history. The P-pop powerhouse has been named in the official lineup for Lollapalooza 2026 in Chicago, making them the very first homegrown Filipino act to grace one of the world's biggest music festivals.
The festival dropped the bomb on March 17, revealing that SB19 — composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken (FELIP), and Justin — will share the stage with global megastars like Charli XCX, Lorde, Jennie Kim of Blackpink, Olivia Dean, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The XX. Lollapalooza runs from July 30 to August 2 at Grant Park, Chicago.
SB19 surprised fans through social media, writing: "Surprise A'TIN! We're so thrilled to announce that we'll be performing on the Lollapalooza stage this 2026! Can't wait to see you, Chicago." Also on the lineup? Fellow Pinay artist beabadoobee, Aespa, 5 Seconds of Summer, Zara Larsson, and Yoasobi.
This Lollapalooza milestone comes right after SB19's performance at the D.U.N.K. Showcase in Yokohama, Japan, where they collabed with J-pop group BE:FIRST on an unreleased track called "Toyfriend." The boys are also prepping their sophomore album "Wakas At Simula" dropping March 27, followed by a huge concert on April 18 at SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque.
And SB19 isn't alone — fellow P-pop group BINI was recently announced for Coachella 2026, making it a golden era for Filipino music on the world stage. From local gigs to the biggest festivals on the planet, P-pop is officially here to stay. 🇵🇭🔥
