Rochelle at 43: “Life Starts at 40” Hits a Lot of Moms Right in the Feels

Rochelle Pangilinan shared a very personal realization after turning 43, and a lot of women online will probably relate. The former SexBomb Girls leader said she once thought the season of “firsts” was over in her 40s, pero hindi pala — new doors still opened in a big way.

In her Instagram post, Rochelle said more opportunities came even after she entered her 40s, including a major partnership with a popular mobile game alongside the group. For her, that became proof that age does not automatically close the door on exciting work or fresh milestones.

She also addressed fellow women and mothers directly, saying many people feel that once they get older or become moms, everything has to stop. Rochelle pushed back on that mindset and said there is still so much waiting for them beyond the labels people place on women.

The actress-dancer said she only ever wanted to become a channel of blessing, and she feels that dream has already started happening. Her message was simple but powerful: hindi hadlang ang edad, and life can truly begin at 40 instead of winding down.

Rochelle and the SexBomb Girls are also preparing for the sixth leg of their “Get, Get Aw!” concert on April 18 at the SMDC Open Grounds in Parañaque. So yes, hindi lang ito hugot — may actual momentum rin behind the message she’s sharing ngayon.
