Singer-actress Rita Daniela is glowing — and it's not just because of her new career move. After signing with Viva Artist Agency following two decades under Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Rita openly expressed she's ready to take her relationship with boyfriend McLaude Guadaña to the next level.

Asked if she could see herself marrying McLaude, a basketball player and model who is six years younger than her, Rita didn't hesitate: 'Oo naman po.' She revealed that from their very first date, she was upfront about her intentions. 'Sinabi ko na sa kanya na I'm seriously looking. I'm not into playing games anymore,' she said.

Rita's son Uno has also fully embraced McLaude, which clearly means a lot to the singer-actress. 'Very good. Sobrang maalaga. Madalas hinahanap siya sa akin ng anak ko,' she shared about their bond. For any single parent, having your child love your partner is one of the biggest green flags there is.

McLaude accompanied Rita during her Viva contract signing, showing his full support for her career shift. Rita's decision to leave GMA was driven by a desire to explore more opportunities, particularly in music — her first love before acting took center stage.

Reflecting on her journey, Rita said motherhood made her braver than she ever thought possible. 'I thought I was already a brave woman, but when I became a mother, I became braver,' she shared. With her career expanding and her love life blooming, it seems like Rita Daniela is living her best chapter yet.
