A former driver of actress Rhian Ramos has filed new complaints against Ramos and beauty queens Michelle Dee and Samantha Panlilio, pushing a months-old showbiz controversy into another legal stage.

According to Philstar.com, the driver, identified only by the alias “Totoy,” filed complaints on Wednesday, May 13, for slight illegal detention, unlawful arrest, and physical injuries before the Makati Prosecutor’s Office.

The complaint is tied to an incident earlier this year in which Totoy claimed he was repeatedly assaulted by the three women. Ramos, Dee, and Panlilio have denied the allegations, while the report also noted a separate dispute over whether the driver allegedly stole an “angpao” containing sensitive photographs.

Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption president Arsenio “Boy” Evangelista accompanied Totoy during the filing. Evangelista was also with him in January when a complaint was brought to the National Bureau of Investigation, and he said the latest move followed case buildup by the bureau.

Evangelista said the issue is about accountability and justice, not settlement money, adding that Totoy is not inclined to settle after what he described as a heart-to-heart conversation. Source: Philstar.com
