Reunion With Kilig Vibes: Zephanie and Michael Sager Team Up Again in Born To Shine

Zephanie and Michael Sager are back on the same project, and fans of the pair are getting another reunion moment in GMA’s upcoming Afternoon Prime drama Born To Shine. The two last worked together on Sparkle U: #Soundtrip in January 2024, so this new series gives them a fresh chance to show how much they have grown since then.

At the show’s media conference on March 16 at GMA Network, Zephanie said she was genuinely excited when she learned she would be working with Michael again. She said they both took their own paths after their first project, and now she is eager to see the growth they each bring into this reunion.

Michael also sounded thankful for the trust given to them, saying Born To Shine is a special project centered on Zephanie’s character, Jennie. He even told her the show feels meant for her, adding that he has seen her chase her dreams from the start and is happy to support her in this project.

The series leans into music too, not just drama. During the mediacon, both stars performed original songs tied to the show, with Zephanie singing the series theme and Michael also delivering an original track. Pareho silang naging emotional, saying the project finally feels real now that the air date is close.

Born To Shine is set to premiere on March 23 on GMA Afternoon Prime. For fans who enjoy a reunion with a little kilig and plenty of music, this one looks like a project worth watching.
