The Quezon City Police District pulled off a massive one-day operation on Saturday, February 27, arresting 36 wanted persons during its district-wide 'Warrant Day.' The haul included three Top Most Wanted Persons, 12 Most Wanted Persons, and 21 Other Wanted Persons nabbed across multiple police stations and specialized units.

Two of the highest-ranking fugitives were arrested as far away as Bongabon, Nueva Ecija at 3:20 AM. Alias 'Rolly,' 34, the No. 9 Regional Most Wanted and No. 8 District Most Wanted, faces multiple charges of acts of lasciviousness, sexual assault, and lascivious conduct. Alias 'Romeo,' 64, the No. 5 District Most Wanted, has warrants for qualified rape, lascivious conduct, and sexual assault.

Both suspects are residents of Barangay Sangandaan, Talipapa, Quezon City, but were found hiding out in Nueva Ecija. Their warrants were issued by Branches 94 and 86 of the Regional Trial Court in Quezon City.

In a separate operation, Kamuning Police Station served a warrant on alias 'Alvin,' 24, the station's No. 10 Most Wanted Person, who was located inside the Manila City Jail. He faces charges under the Anti-Electricity Pilferage Act.

Among the various QC police stations, Fairview PS recorded the most MWP arrests with three, followed by La Loma and Payatas-Bagong Silangan with two each. The coordinated 'Warrant Day' model is becoming a regular feature of QCPD operations aimed at clearing its backlog of outstanding arrest warrants.
