In a shocking twist that has rocked the K-pop world and Filipino fan communities alike, 2NE1 member Park Bom has accused her former bandmate Sandara Park of being at the center of a drug scandal cover-up orchestrated by their agency, YG Entertainment.

In a now-deleted Instagram post on Tuesday, March 3, Bom shared a handwritten letter claiming that she was framed as a drug user to shield Sandara from a similar controversy. "Sandara Park was caught for drug abuse, and to cover that up, they turned the medication into something labeled as a drug scandal involving me," Bom alleged in the explosive letter.

Bom also defended herself against long-standing accusations, insisting that the substance at the center of her 2010 controversy was Adderall, a legitimate medication for her diagnosed Attention Deficit Disorder. "It is not a drug. I am an ADD patient," she stressed. In 2010, South Korean prosecutors investigated Bom for allegedly smuggling amphetamines but eventually suspended the case after confirming the pills were for medical treatment.

The singer also called out YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk, producer Teddy, and fellow 2NE1 member CL, asking them to stop reporting her for supposedly exceeding prescribed dosages. The accusations come on the heels of a fraud complaint Bom filed against Yang in October 2025, alleging he withheld 2NE1 earnings and caused her significant financial losses.

Para sa mga Pinoy fans ng 2NE1, especially those who grew up watching Sandara as one of their own, the allegations hit different. Sandara, who rose to fame in the Philippines before joining 2NE1, has not yet responded publicly to Bom's claims. The post may have been deleted, pero the damage — and the conversation — is already out there.
