Nikko Natividad Breaks Down Over Viral Video Scandal: 'Natukso Ako'
Actor and content creator Nikko Natividad went on the YouTube channel of showbiz host Ogie Diaz to publicly own up to his involvement in a viral video scandal — and it was an emotional ride from start to finish.
In the interview released March 6, Natividad took full responsibility for the video, which he says was recorded around 2022. He didn't try to make excuses. "Walang salita na makakapagpabawas o makakapagtakip sa ginawa ko. Not because my wife and I fought, not because I was drunk. Everything I did was wrong," he said, adding simply: "Natukso ako, at nagpadala ako."
What clearly hit him the hardest was the impact on his 10-year-old son, who found out about the chaos at home and sent him a heartbreaking text. "He told me, 'Dad, Mommy didn't do anything wrong to you. Why did you do that?'" Natividad recalled, choking up. The boy also told his father, "I used to defend you to Mommy when you fight, but now I can't defend you." Then came the message that completely broke him: "Dad, I love you. I know God will forgive you."
Natividad said he urged his wife Cielo Mae Eusebio to leave him, telling her she was innocent and had done nothing wrong. But Eusebio, in a lengthy Facebook statement, said she chose to stay and work through the pain. "I'm not pretending like nothing happened. I feel the pain every single day," she wrote — but made clear she's choosing her family.
The scandal has rocked social media, but the couple appears determined to rebuild. It's a raw, messy, and very public reckoning — and Natividad seems to know there's no easy path forward.
