Malls Adjust Na: Big Chains Cut Hours as Power Crunch Hits PH
Major mall operators across the Philippines are trimming their operating hours starting Monday, March 30, after the government’s national energy emergency pushed companies to help reduce pressure on the power grid.

SM said its weekday schedule will shift to 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., while many weekend hours stay longer. Robinsons and Ayala are also moving to 11 a.m. openings on weekdays, while some groups told shoppers to double-check each branch’s social pages because schedules may vary per mall.
