Last tulog sa Bahay ni Kuya: Kapuso housemates get emotional over PBB OG house goodbye
The Kapuso housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” said their stay inside the original Bahay ni Kuya felt both historic and emotional after learning they would be the last batch to live in the iconic yellow house before it is relocated.
The Kapuso housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” said their stay inside the original Bahay ni Kuya felt both historic and emotional after learning they would be the last batch to live in the iconic yellow house before it is relocated.
During a media conference, several housemates spoke about the moment with a mix of pride and lungkot. Heath Jornales said it was an honor to be part of the final group to stay in the original house, while John Clifford described the experience as both happy and sad because many others would have wanted that same chance.
Marco Masa said he never expected he would still get to enter Bahay ni Kuya, calling the experience a once-in-a-blue-moon blessing. Lee Victor echoed that feeling, saying it was a privilege to be part of a historic batch even if the news also marked the end of an era for one of Philippine TV’s most familiar sets.
Caprice Cayetano said being part of such an iconic house made the moment special, but also painful because there will no longer be that exact place to point to as their former home. Ashley Sarmiento added that the original house changed many lives, while Princess Aliyah said the group felt honored to help close that chapter of the program’s history.
The season began airing in October 2025 and featured celebrity guests including Vice Ganda, Gladys Reyes, Miguel Tanfelix, Bianca Gonzalez, and Ruru Madrid. For fans, this goodbye hits differently kasi hindi lang batch ang nagtatapos — even the OG house itself is moving into a new phase.
