The actress attended the 2026 Tindahan ni Aling Puring Sari-Sari Store Convention at the World Trade Center on May 14, appearing alongside other guests including Kyline Alcantara and Angeline Quinto.

In a fan-captured moment, someone asked Kathryn, “Kamusta love life mo?” After the question was repeated, she smiled and replied, “Okay naman,” before walking away still grinning.

The short answer quickly drew attention because of ongoing rumors linking Kathryn to Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala. Neither Kathryn nor Alcala has publicly confirmed the talk, though the two have been seen together in public and reportedly joined a Thailand trip with others.
