Joseph Bitangcol Backs Sandara, Says Drug Rumors Don’t Fit Her at All

Actor Joseph Bitangcol came to Sandara Park’s defense after fresh drug allegations involving the K-pop star circulated online, saying he does not believe she would ever use illegal drugs.

The issue resurfaced after Park Bom, Sandara’s former 2NE1 groupmate, publicly mentioned Sandara while talking about her own Attention Deficit Disorder medication and a supposed drug controversy. Sandara later denied the allegation and said she has never used drugs.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the Sing Galing Finals, Joseph said the accusation simply does not match the Sandara he knew when they were together. He said he saw firsthand how focused she was on her family, her work, and the sacrifices she made for her career.

Joseph also argued that even habits like smoking or drinking were not things Sandara easily embraced, making the drug claim even harder for him to believe. Para sa kanya, 100 percent daw na hindi iyon gagawin ng singer-actress.
