Jasmine Curtis-Smith is setting the record straight once and for all: she has never had plastic surgery, especially not around her eyes — and she's not happy that people think otherwise.

'I have nothing against it, but I've never done it. I've never done plastic surgery, especially around my eyes,' she told Nelson Canlas on '24 Oras.' 'Guys, oh my God. Okay? I love my eyes. Actually, if anything, yan yata yung paborito kong feature sa mukha ko. So hindi ko yan gagalawin.'

So why do people think her face looks different? Simple: she's been crying. A lot. Jasmine admitted she's still grieving the recent death of her father James Curtis Smith, and the puffiness around her eyes is from tears, not a surgeon's scalpel. 'Namaga lang talaga yung mata ko from crying,' she explained.

The actress added that if she ever does decide to get work done, she wouldn't hide it. 'If ever man may ipagalaw naman ako, I won't lie about it if I ever get asked. Because it's the modern day na. People are getting it done. It's just not for me. It's just not something I do, you know. For now at least.'

Beyond the beauty rumors, Jasmine is keeping busy — she's starring in the stage play 'Endo' alongside Royce Cabrera and performing in 'Stars on the Floor' Season 2. But even as she throws herself into work, the grief remains present. 'I miss my family. I miss being with my mom. Mahirap lang na hindi mo sila kasama lalo na kapag pagod ka,' she said, getting teary-eyed.
