It's Final: Heeseung Is NOT Coming Back to Enhypen, Says Belift Lab

Engenes hoping for a reunion might want to sit down for this one. Belift Lab has released a definitive statement: Heeseung will not be returning to Enhypen. Period.

In a statement sent to The Korea Herald, the entertainment label behind the K-pop group reaffirmed the decision despite massive fan campaigns, petitions, and even billboards urging them to bring Heeseung back. 'Heeseung will not return to Enhypen. He has a clear artistic direction he wants to pursue, and we decided to respect that,' Belift Lab said.

The agency explained that after in-depth discussions with all members about their future vision, it became clear that Heeseung has his own distinct musical direction — and pursuing a solo career would be the best move for everyone involved. Heeseung himself wrote a heartfelt letter to fans expressing gratitude and promising to 'prepare hard to meet you again as soon as possible.'

Enhypen will continue as a group with members Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. The group — known for hits like 'Bite Me,' 'No Doubt,' and 'Drunk-Dazed' — made a music comeback just this January 2026 and has a massive Filipino fanbase, having brought their 'Walk the Line' tour to Bulacan in March 2025.

For Pinoy Engenes, it's a bittersweet moment — but at least there's hope that Heeseung's solo career might eventually bring him back to Philippine shores on his own terms.
