Rita, who rose to fame on GMA's Pop Star Kids (where Julie Anne San Jose was the champion), has been a Kapuso artist for most of her career. She became a household name as the female lead in My Special Tatay opposite Ken Chan, though she recently revealed that she and Ken are no longer friends.
