GMA News is refreshing its public image for 2026, but the core message is the same: it wants Filipinos to keep seeing the network as a steady source of credible information. In its latest relaunch, the news group said it is standing firm on its long-running promise of "Serbisyong Totoo."
GMA News is refreshing its public image for 2026, but the core message is the same: it wants Filipinos to keep seeing the network as a steady source of credible information. In its latest relaunch, the news group said it is standing firm on its long-running promise of "Serbisyong Totoo."
According to The Manila Times report, GMA News described the relaunch as a renewed commitment to truthful, balanced, and credible journalism while adapting to a fast-changing media environment. The network also highlighted its familiar line about being impartial and protective of integrity in news coverage.
The organization said it has more than 1,000 journalists, staff, and crew working across its platforms for audiences in the Philippines and abroad. Its TV lineup still revolves around major programs like 24 Oras, 24 Oras Weekend, Saksi, Balitanghali, State of the Nation, and Dobol B TV.
GMA also pointed to its regional newscasts such as One North Central Luzon, Balitang Bisdak, One Western Visayas, and One Mindanao, plus 21 radio stations nationwide. On the digital side, it said GMA News Online and its social media channels remain central to delivering real-time and verified updates.
In short, the relaunch is less about changing the brand and more about reminding viewers what the brand wants to stand for. Sa madaling sabi, GMA News is telling audiences that even as platforms evolve, its pitch stays the same: familiar face, wider reach, and journalism it wants people to trust.
