Nagpakita si Senator Bong Go sa Senate session nitong Miyerkules kahit may mga alegasyon laban sa kanya kaugnay ng International Criminal Court (ICC) — at mariing sinabi niyang wala siyang kasalanan.
Senator Bong Go showed up at the Senate session on Wednesday despite ongoing claims connecting him to International Criminal Court (ICC) proceedings, firmly declaring his innocence.
"Wala naman akong kasalanan," Go told reporters as he entered the Senate. He brushed off the controversy, saying he continues to focus on his legislative duties and serving his constituents.
The ICC probe into alleged extrajudicial killings during the Duterte administration remains a hot-button issue in Philippine politics, with several officials named in connection with the investigation.
Go maintained that he has always acted within the bounds of the law and called on the public to wait for the full facts before making judgments.
