Nagkagulo sa University of the Philippines Baguio nitong Miyerkules ng tanghali nang makatanggap ang university ng bomb threat — at agad na ini-evacuate ang lahat ng students, faculty, at staff para sa kanilang kaligtasan.

The threat came in at around 12:15 PM on March 11, 2026, reportedly targeting members of the university community including students, faculty, and activists. University officials wasted no time — everyone was immediately moved to the Baguio Convention Center while authorities began their sweep of the campus.

Security personnel and bomb disposal units were deployed to conduct clearing operations across all university buildings and surrounding areas. Classes were suspended for the rest of the afternoon as the investigation got underway, with local police coordinating directly with campus security.

As of the latest reports, the university administration has not yet released an official statement on when classes will resume or who might be behind the threat. The incident has rattled the normally peaceful campus in the City of Pines, where bomb threats remain relatively rare.

Authorities are urging the public to remain calm and report any suspicious activity in the area. This is a developing story — we'll update as more details come in.
