When asked if someone was making her bloom, Gela answered with a smile, “Siguro po.” Pressed further on whether she was already in love, she shyly replied, “Opo.” She then said the person is also in showbiz and is an actor like her, while adding that the relationship is not really something she has been trying to hide.
Gela described the romance as fairly recent but not brand new. Hindi pa man pinapangalanan, that was enough to fuel speculation online, especially because fans have been linking her to actor Zaijian Jaranilla for months now.
PEP.ph’s report recalled that in July 2025, Gela posted a TikTok video showing herself with a man whose full face was not clearly visible, though some viewers thought he looked like Zaijian. The post carried a sweet caption about “soft love, safe arms, zero doubts,” and in August 2025 she shared another video featuring a man she was hugging, calling it the most gentle love she has known.
The pair had become close while working together on the 2023 drama Senior High and its sequel High Street. During The Silent Noise media event, ABS-CBN News also asked Zaijian about the rumored special relationship, but his only answer was a teasing “Secret!” — enough to keep the chika alive for now.
