BLACKPINK's Jisoo just gave Filipino fans a major kilig moment by sharing behind-the-scenes photos from Cebu, where key scenes of her new Netflix K-drama "Boyfriend on Demand" were filmed.

The K-pop superstar posted a series of Instagram photos taken at Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu and Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort, where she was seen posing with co-star Seo In-guk and director Kim Jung-sik. The stunning Cebu coastline serves as a romantic backdrop in the series, and the Department of Tourism has been proudly promoting the PH connection.

In "Boyfriend on Demand," Jisoo plays Seo Mi-rae, an overworked webtoon producer who discovers a subscription-based virtual dating simulation program that lets her experience perfect relationships. The series also features an all-star cast including Seo Kang-jun, Lee Soo-hyuk, Ong Seong-wu, Lee Jae-wook, Jay Park, and Kim Young-dae.

Aside from Shangri-La Mactan, the production team also filmed at El Mar Resort Cebu and Nustar Resort — all showcasing the world-class beauty of Cebu. Jisoo and Seo In-guk reportedly visited Cebu in February 2025 for the shoot, and the gorgeous locations are now getting international attention dahil sa drama.

The series debuted in the top 10 in 52 countries and territories according to FlixPatrol, and quickly climbed to No. 2 among TV shows in the Philippines. With Cebu's beaches getting this kind of global exposure, expect a fresh wave of K-drama fans adding the Queen City of the South to their travel bucket list.
