BLACKPINK's Jisoo Shares Stunning Cebu Photos From Netflix Hit 'Boyfriend on Demand'
BLACKPINK member and actress Jisoo is giving Filipino fans all the kilig feels after sharing gorgeous behind-the-scenes photos from Cebu, where key scenes of Netflix's hit Korean series "Boyfriend on Demand" were filmed.
The K-pop superstar posted the photos on Instagram, showing her at Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu and Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort alongside co-star Seo In-guk and director Kim Jung-sik. The series, which premiered on Netflix earlier this month, has already cracked the top 10 in 52 countries and debuted at No. 4 among TV shows in the Philippines before climbing to No. 2.
In "Boyfriend on Demand," Jisoo plays Seo Mi-rae, an exhausted webtoon producer who escapes her burnout through a subscription-based virtual dating simulation program where she encounters the boyfriends of her dreams. The star-studded cast includes Seo Kang-jun, Lee Soo-hyuk, Ong Seong-wu, Lee Jae-wook, Jay Park, and Kim Young-dae as the virtual love interests.
Cebu's stunning locations — including Shangri-La Mactan, Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort, El Mar Resort, and Nustar — serve as the romantic backdrop for several pivotal scenes. The Department of Tourism proudly highlighted the show, posting that "the breathtaking locations make the drama even more romantic." Jisoo and Seo In-guk originally visited Cebu for the shoot back in February 2025.
The series is shaping up to be one of the biggest K-drama hits of 2026, and the Cebu connection has Filipino fans buzzing with pride na nasa Netflix ang ganda ng Pilipinas.
