Josh Ford marked his birthday with a giving-back moment instead of a usual celebrity party, visiting an elderly home in San Juan with fellow 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0' housemate Kira Balinger. The visit doubled as a post-birthday celebration and also marked the anniversary of their Team Kish fan group.
A report on '24 Oras' said Josh, Kira, and their supporters helped organize the event themselves. Josh said the celebration felt extra special because it was the first time he spent his birthday doing something meaningful for other people who helped shape his journey.
The visit also hit close to home for the Sparkle actor. Josh shared that the elderly home brought back memories of his time in the United Kingdom, where he once worked as a caregiver, kaya very personal talaga ang moment for him.
Kira said it felt good to spend time giving back, while Josh added that some of the residents even recognized them from GMA's 'The Secrets of Hotel 88.' He said it was touching to see older viewers supporting both of them on screen.
Josh had celebrated his actual birthday on March 12 in Puerto Galera during locked-in taping, where Kira surprised him with a small gift. Aside from 'The Secrets of Hotel 88,' the two are also part of the horror film 'Huwag Kang Titingin,' which is set to open in cinemas on April 15.
