BINI and SB19 Are Now on Weverse — P-Pop Just Went Global Level
It’s official: the two biggest names in P-pop, BINI and SB19, are joining Weverse — the global fan platform created by HYBE Corporation that’s home to massive acts like BTS, BLACKPINK, and SEVENTEEN. This is a huge deal for Filipino music, and fans are absolutely losing it.
Weverse teased the announcement on March 11 with silhouette posts highlighting both groups’ milestones: BINI was recognized as the first-ever Filipino artist to enter the Spotify Global Top Artists Chart, while SB19 was hailed as the first Southeast Asian act to crack the Billboard Year-End Social 50 Top 10. The silhouettes clearly showed BINI’s eight members — Maloi, Colet, Jhoanna, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Sheena, and Aiah — and SB19’s five — Pablo, Josh, Ken, Stell, and Justin.
For the Blooms and A’TIN, this means a whole new level of fan engagement: exclusive behind-the-scenes content, livestreams, direct artist interactions, and access to merchandise and ticket sales through the platform’s integrated store. Think of it as the ultimate fan headquarters.
The timing couldn’t be better. SB19 is gearing up for their ‘Wakas At Simula: The Trilogy Concert Finale’ at SMDC Festival Grounds in April, closing out their trilogy of musical eras. Meanwhile, BINI is set to make history as the first all-Filipino girl group to perform at Coachella that same month. Sobrang proud moment for Pinoy music.
Weverse launched in 2019 and has grown into the go-to platform for global fandoms. Having two Filipino groups join the roster alongside K-pop royalty and international artists like Gracie Abrams is proof that P-pop has truly arrived on the world stage. This is just the beginning.
