Billboard Philippines Women In Music 2026 Is Back — Here's What We Know So Far

In celebration of International Women's Month, Billboard Philippines is bringing back its signature Women In Music awards for the third year running. The event, scheduled for March 24, 2026, will honor the Filipinas who have been breaking barriers, setting records, and reshaping the sound of OPM.

This year's edition promises to be the biggest yet. Six major awards will be handed out to artists handpicked by the Billboard Philippines team for their impact on the local music industry. On top of that, fan-voted categories will let listeners champion their favorite songs and performers — so expect the stan wars to be in full swing leading up to the event.

The Women In Music franchise has built serious momentum since its 2024 debut, which was a sold-out celebration honoring icons like Sarah Geronimo (Woman of the Year), Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, the legendary Pilita Corrales, Moira Dela Torre, the P-pop queens BINI, and indie darling ena mori. Fan favorites Morissette and Belle Mariano also took home awards that year.

Last year's "Executive Edition" flipped the script by spotlighting the women behind the scenes — the executives, managers, and industry leaders driving Filipino music forward. The intimate 2025 event reminded everyone that the industry's success isn't just about who's on stage.

With the 2026 honorees yet to be announced, speculation is already building. Billboard Philippines has modeled the event after its iconic US counterpart, which has honored the likes of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Madonna. Who will be this year's Woman of the Year?
