Pinoy Big Brother is saying goodbye to one of its most recognizable symbols: the original PBB house. Host Bianca Gonzalez shared an emotional reaction after confirmation that the longtime house will close and the show will eventually transfer to a new location.

The article said TV Production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi confirmed the move on Tuesday, explaining that the property where the house stands has already been sold. The production reportedly managed to extend its lease long enough to air two editions of the PBB Celebrity Collab run with GMA 7.

The house, built in 2005, carried major sentimental weight for fans and former housemates alike. It covered around 1,400 square meters, cost about PHP 15 million at the time, and was originally designed to last only five years—yet tumagal for 21 years.

Bianca described the place as more than just a TV set. In her post, she said it was a space that changed many lives for the better, which explains why the farewell is hitting longtime viewers hard. For a generation of fans, the house became part of pop culture history.

The report also noted that even years ago, the team had already been considering a transfer. Still, now that the move is official, the end of the old house feels like the closing of a full era—bittersweet, but also the start of a brand-new chapter for PBB.
