A Makati preliminary investigation tied to online adult content that may be accessible to minors has been pushed back to April 16 after only one of the named respondents showed up. Actress Salome Salvi personally appeared, while vlogger Brian Babilonia, also known as Tio Bri, skipped the hearing for the second straight time.

The complaint alleges violations of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to the Anti-Cybercrime Act. The case was brought by the Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas Inc., which said the questioned posts were publicly available and easy for children to access.

The group said it had sent cease-and-desist notices through lawyer Mark Tolentino in November 2025, but claimed those warnings were ignored. Because of that, the organization moved forward with filing the complaints earlier this month.

KSMBPI chairman Michael Raymond Aragon said Salvi’s side had earlier tried to open a dialogue before the charges were filed, but both camps eventually agreed to let the legal process move forward. He also said more complaints could be filed against other entities accused of posting similar explicit material online.

The reset means the case is far from over, and it also signals a bigger crackdown on how adult content is shared on public platforms. The core issue now is not just the content itself, kundi whether platforms and creators did enough to keep minors from reaching it.
