AJ Raval is putting her foot down. The 25-year-old actress took to Instagram Stories on March 17 to shoot down rumors that her father, veteran action star Jeric Raval, allegedly urged Kylie Padilla to file for an annulment from ex-husband Aljur Abrenica.
"Fake news. 100%. My father would never mention a name. He's too old to be involved in something like this. Walang nag-aaway. We're all at peace," AJ wrote, making it crystal clear that the rumors have zero basis. She added: "Hate us all you want. Continue spreading lies. Continue to take me down if that's what makes you happy."
For context, AJ and Aljur share three children together — on top of AJ's two other kids — making the family dynamic a frequent target of public scrutiny. Aljur and Kylie tied the knot in 2018 before confirming their split in 2021. The former couple now co-parents their two sons, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo.
AJ's message was a clear attempt to draw a line between public gossip and their private reality. "What's important is what's happening inside our home, not what you see from the outside. We're okay. Walang beef sa loob. Walang nag-aaway at bati lahat," she emphasized.
