AGT Grand Champion Jessica Sanchez Is Coming Home — May 16 Concert sa Araneta, Mga Besh!
America's Got Talent 2025 Grand Champion Jessica Sanchez is finally bringing her winning energy to the Philippines with a massive homecoming concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on May 16, presented by Wilbros Live. And yes, the Fil-Am singer is beyond excited.
During a Zoom press conference on March 13, Jessica teased that the concert will have special guests whose identities are still "under wraps." Businessman RS Francisco, who partnered with Wilbros Live for the show, dropped a juicy hint: when Jessica heard about one of the guests, she reportedly exclaimed, "Oh my God! She's my favorite. She's my idol." He also promised a diverse and inclusive lineup, saying, "We will include our LGBT friends, so expect a diverse lineup."
What makes Jessica's AGT victory even more incredible? She won the whole thing while nine months pregnant. "My main goal was to stay as healthy and relaxed as possible," she shared. "Winning AGT 20 years later and nine months pregnant was truly incredible." She gave birth to daughter Eliana Mae in October 2025, and says motherhood is the biggest challenge she's ever faced — but also the most rewarding.
Jessica first rose to fame as the runner-up on American Idol Season 11. After years of career ups and downs — including periods of depression and self-doubt — she made her comeback on AGT and took the crown. "God finally answered a prayer I'd held for years," she said. "I needed to build my character during those quiet, challenging times."
Her advice for aspiring artists? "Be patient and have thick skin." The 30-year-old singer says she's living proof that timing is everything, and that giving up is never the answer. Mark your calendars, Pinoys — May 16 sa Big Dome, this is going to be one for the books.
