Number of poll-related incidents reported to PNP increases as of Nov. 2

MANILA, Philippines — The number of validated election-related incidents (ERIs) climbed to 47, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Thursday.

The number is a jump from the 35 confirmed ERIs as of Tuesday.

Based on the data sent by PNP spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo to reporters, as of 12:00 a.m. this Thursday, the agency has already recorded a total of 264 violent incidents since August 28.

According to PNP, the validated ERIs came from the following regions:

One in the National Capital Region
Three in Ilocos Region
One in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon)
Two in Bicol
Two in Central Visayas
Three in Eastern Visayas
