Award-winning actress Angie Ferro died Thursday, Aug. 17, at the age of 86, her family and friends in the showbiz industry confirmed.
According to a statement by Ferro’s granddaughter Lorelie Futol to ABS-CBN, the “Lola Igna” actress passed away on Thursday afternoon. Further details on her death and wake have yet to be disclosed as of this writing.
Screenwriter Suzette Doctolero as well as Ferro’s protg, Noel Miralles, were among those who confirmed the veteran actress’ passing by paying tribute to her through their respective Facebook pages.
