PCG to send security personnel, assets on Marcos inauguration

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has committed some of its assets and personnel to beef up the security for the inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila on June 30.

According to PCG Commandant Admiral Artemio Abu, the Department of Interior and Local Government enjoined the coast guard to contribute to measures that will “uphold public safety and security on the first day of the Marcos administration.”
