After almost half a year into the global COVID-19 pandemic, wearing face masks as a precaution should be imperative for every citizen. But with the benefit of using this protection still a topic of debate for some people, several of the Philippines’ world class beauty queens showed up to share the importance of abiding by the health sector’s appeal to mask up.

Venus Raj, who 10 years ago broke ground for Filipino beauties in the Miss Universe pageant when she started a decade-long streak for the Philippines after finishing fifth in the contest in Las Vegas, posted a photo of herself wearing a burgundy face mask.
