CITY OF CALAPAN — A negative result in a swab test or reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test will no longer be a requirement for all persons who will enter the province of Oriental Mindoro starting Monday, August 3.

Governor Humerlito Dolor made the announcement on his official social media post on Friday evening.

Dolor, in a separate message to the Inquirer on Saturday, said that to ensure public safety, the province will issue guidelines today, Saturday, which will be effective on Monday for the entry of locally stranded individuals (LSIs), returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) and Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs).
