CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Construction of the second phase of a new railway leading to the Clark International Airport (CRK) in Pampanga has been set in motion with the signing on Saturday (Aug. 1) of two of five project contracts.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) led the virtual signing of the contracts for Packages N-04 and N-05 of the Philippine National Railway Clark Phase 2 which involves a 53-kilometer rail span from the City of Malolos in Bulacan to the Clark Freeport.
The first phase of the project which connects to Caloocan City is now 30 percent complete, according to the DOTr.
