MANILA, Philippines — The government will be offering loans for tuition up to P100,000 by September, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III announced Wednesday.

In a pre-State of the Nation Address forum, Dominguez said the Social Security System (SSS) will offer a loan program of up to P100,000 for the tuition payment of its members’ beneficiaries.

“The SSS will launch in September an educational loan program for its members to help pay for tuition and other school fees of their nominated student beneficiaries,” Dominguez said.
