LEGAZPI CITY —- The regional chapter of women’s rights group Gabriela demanded the immediate release of their head, who was arrested for murder in Nabua town, Camarines Sur on Tuesday.
Jenelyn Nagrampa, 37, chairperson of Bicolana Gabriela, was arrested at her residence in Barangay San Isidro Poblacion around 11 a.m., said Nica Ombao, regional coordinator and spokesperson of Bicolana Gabriela.
Nagrampa is accused of being part of an ambush in Ragay town on May 13, 2018, where two soldiers were killed.
“We call for the dismissal of this case, the immediate release of Jen Nagrampa and for the junking of the anti-terror law,” Ombao said.
