INDANG, Cavite – A dump truck passing through Barangay Poblacion 3 hit and dragged the cables of an electric post, causing it to lean towards the street Monday, June 29.

Barangay Kagawad on-duty Arnel Kasaysayan told Manila Bulletin the accident resulted in heavy traffic within the town proper and caused power outage in some parts of Barangay Poblacion 3.

The area where the accident happened is a major thoroughfare for motorists passing through Indang to get to neighboring municipalities.

According to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), the wires hanged low from the weight of several lines installed by internet and TV cable providers.
