COVID-19 cases in Quezon rise to 160 with 5 new patients

LUCENA CITY —- Five new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients have been reported in Quezon, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 160, authorities reported on Tuesday.

In its 8 a.m. bulletin, the Quezon public information office (QPIO), quoting the latest data from the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO), disclosed that three of the patients were from Lucena City and one each from the towns of Atimonan and Macalelon.

Lucena has recorded 69 COVID-19 cases, but 66 have recovered.
The three latest patients are the only active virus carriers in the city.
