Malacañang approves appointments of 26 prosecutors for DOJ

Malacañang has approved the appointments of 26 prosecutors at the Department of Justice (DOJ). Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra on Wednesday, June 3, revealed the names of the new appointments.

This is the second set of appointments at the DOJ made by Malacanang within a week.

Just last Friday, May 29, Malacanang released the names of 17 prosecutors who either got appointed or promoted at the DOJ. The 26 prosecutors whose appointments were approved are the following:

1) Indar, Rahma Ampuan – DOJ, NPS, OCP – Pasay City – Prosecutor II (Assistant City Prosecutor);

2) Pineda, Timoteo Patricio Jr. – DOJ, NPS, OCP – Bacoor City – Prosecutor I (Associate City Prosecutor);

3) Acas, Helen Catacutan – DOJ,
