Thirty one residents of Barangay Baclaran in Parañaque City tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). This was after the city government initiated rapid testing during a three-day calibrated lockdown two weeks ago.
Dr. Darius Sebastian, chief of CESU, reported that 31 out of 754 residents who underwent rapid testing have tested positive for the dreaded disease.
Barangay Baclaran has the most number of COVID-19 cases with 42, followed by Barangay San Dionisio with 36 cases and Barangay San Antonio with 25 cases, as of Wednesday, June 3.
The crowded barangay was placed under calibrated lockdown last May 20 in an effort to contain the virus.
