The Manila City government on Friday reported its highest number of single-day coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) recoveries yet with 84 recovered patients.

In his Capital Report, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso said there are now a total of 256 recoveries in the city.

The mayor also announced 26 additional COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,178.

Manila is the second
