Galvez: PH ‘winning’ fight vs. COVID-19 pandemic

The government is so far “winning” the battle to contain the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and manage the pandemic in the country, a government official from the national response team declared on Friday night (May 22).

Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., chief implementer of the National Action Plan (NAP) on COVID-19, said this was the result of a two-pronged strategic framework which operationalizes the NAP — the T3 program which means “test, trace and treat,” and the PDITRA program or “prevention, detection, isolation, treatment, reintegration, and adopting the new normal.”
