DAR employees pray for Alvarez’s recovery

Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) employees have been offering prayers for the immediate recovery of the agency’s former secretary, Heherson Alvarez, who has been afflicted by the dreaded coronavirus disease.


Alvarez is confined in a hospital in Manila with wife Cecile, who is also fighting the same illness.

The prayers for the immediate recovery of the couple are being recited at the DAR employees’ respective homes in compliance with the government’s strict “stay at home” policy aimed at preventing the further spread of the virus.
