CSC suspends application filing for fire, penology, local treasury exams

MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced Thursday it is suspended the filing of applications for Fire Officer Examination (FOE), Penology Officer Examination (POE), and Basic Competency on Local Treasury Examination (BCLTE) that are scheduled on June 21.

CSC said the filing of applications is suspended “until further notice.”

“Originally scheduled from 31 March to 30 April, the application period has been suspended in view of the Enhanced Community Quarantine being implemented in Luzon, as well as the community quarantine in other localities in the country, due to the coronavirus disease-2019 or COVID-19 pandemic,” it said in a statement.
